This kind of noise consists of a certain number of random values per second. This number is the density. In this example there are 10 random values per second. The algorithm for this noise was created two years ago by myself in c++, as an imitation of noise generators in supercollider 2.

Here is a simple yet usefull reel for your morphagene. I sampled various noise source from various modules to be used into my shared system, as this instrument does not contain any classic one. Channeling the /dev/sda1 hard drive partition into a file. At last i've imported the raw file properly as the 8-bit unsigned linear pcm. This is 8bit mono 44100 hz windows wave. Lots of strange digital sounds. Quite useful for noise and experimental musicians. Interesting that if we just do cat /dev/sda1 > /dev/dsp we hear different sound more like modem 56k. Inductively coupled usb cable into an overly aggressive compressor with reverb, normalized. Maybe if you're a sigint guy you could pull stuff out. I hear things in there.

I took a fairly drone-like-ambience, placed it in reaper's media explorer, and just had fun changing the loop size while recording the desktop.

This is a simple recording of open air white noise of a quite room. I've used this in quite digital passes in some of my original music to help make the digital instrument sound a little less sterile. This is a full unedited take. You will want to crop the start and end sections so you don't here me cutting the recorder on and off ect. I hope you can use this if you need it!.
